“Latinidad” – a new live talk show for Latino professionals

Created in partnership with America’s Heartland, CNN en Español will launch an award-winning education television series showcasing the successes of Hispanic children. Each 90-minute episode will feature an original theme and children whose families have overcome adversity. CNN en Español will follow up its series with the launch of “Monday Más” – an inclusive televised party for Latino children – where educators and entertainers alike bring out their creative side and highlight the positive things that Latinos do each day.

On Tuesday, June 12, more than 20 inspirational civil servants, determined, hard-working people who have served the Latino community throughout the years, will take a “break the ice” moment and sit down with CNN en Español to talk about their experiences as professionals in their respective fields. In addition, the Monday shows will offer Latino children the chance to interview their hero and award-winning athletes will take the time to answer a wide range of school questions from Latino students.

On the heels of the New York Times’ June 12th launch of their new bilingual weekly magazine show The Daily, CNN en Español will kick off its own flagship news program celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with an hour-long daily show starring Martin Mendoza, anchor of the live on-air talk show Sunday Más. During “El Barrio Variety,” the bilingual news magazine show, Mendoza will guide viewers through an exciting week of cultural happenings, and in preparation for the upcoming Mierda, will give viewers an overview of all the events that are happening that week.

CNN en Español to launch live live talk show for Latino professionals

On June 13th, CNN en Español will launch the country’s first full-time weekday show on Hispanic Heritage Month celebrating Latino professionals and empowering individuals to share their stories and come together as community members. “Latinidad,” a live talk show will allow Latino professionals to tell their stories in a non-intimidating environment and in real time as they share their duties as community leaders, leaders to their families and invite those who look just like them to be part of the conversation. CNN en Español will become the first national news agency to launch a live weekend show celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.

CNN en Español will launch a signature television show for Latinos’ preschool age children, with a different theme each Monday. “Monday Más,” a bilingual television show featuring rich production values and a wide variety of entertainment for the youngest members of the Latino community.

“Latinidad” – a live talk show for Latino professionals

“Latinidad,” a live, bilingual weekday show on Monday mornings will be hosted by Beatriz Morales, who is currently a CNN International anchor, as well as analyst of Espanol and TV Mexico. “Latinidad” will focus on discussing hot topics involving Latinos in the business world.
